Dear Penny and extended family,
My first memory of Joe was back in 7th or 8th grade when I'd spend time at Penny's house and he'd ask me about my own dad's self-employed painting business. Joe was also such a friendly presence during Penny's parties, and Oktoberfest will never be the same without him. He always took time to visit and relive the old days in our neighborhood and then discuss hunting stories with my husband John. Joe was always happy, carried a contagious smile and loved spending time with Penny and Chris...especially during the football season! It is always difficult losing someone who loved life and the people around him, and I am truly sad for his loss. Joe will be missed, but I am honored to know such a gentle and spirited soul. May the happy memories bring healing to the family during the times of sadness. I hope it also provides comfort to know that others share in your grief. Much love, Crystal and John Patti
