Joyce Stuck
Glendale - Joyce E. Stuck, age 80, of Glendale AZ passed away with family by her side on February 4, 2018 after a 7 year battle with Parkinson's disease. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roy William (Bill) Stuck, Daughter Lisa Stuck and spouse Traci, Son Jeff Stuck and spouse Jennifer, grandson Nathan Stuck, granddaughter Emery Stuck, Sister Beverly Antamarian, Sisters-in-law Sydney LaRue and Susie Harper, Tom Stratford, nieces and nephews. Joyce was born in Phoenix Arizona on October 26, 1937 to the late Samuel and Alice Lebeau. Joyce lived briefly in San Diego California as a young child before returning to Phoenix where she lived the rest of her life. She was a graduate of West High School where she met her husband Bill and they started their lifetime together. Joyce attended and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in education whereupon she began a 30 year career as an elementary school teacher in the Cartwright School District. Her love and passion for teaching allowed her to touch so many young lives in a positive way. Joyce had many loves in her life but those at the top were family, shopping, travel, cooking, spending time with friends, and shopping! She spent countless hours supporting her two children in whatever endeavors they were involved in and thoroughly enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She coordinated countless family gatherings and often prepared wonderful meals that brought everyone she loved together. Later in life she enjoyed world travel with her lifelong partner Bill. Joyce was a person who was unfailingly upbeat, a joy for all to be around with an unmatched zest for life. She possessed a bright and loving spirit and strong bond with all who entered her life, and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She was the light of our lives. Memorial services will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 west Beardsley road on March 2nd at 11:30 AM. My mom worked with Mrs. Stuck for many years at Cartwright Elementary. Apparently potlucks were common and Mom would get recipes for her favorite items. Several were from Mrs. Stuck and, to this day, I still make "Joyce Stuck's Cold Rice Salad". My condolences to the Stuck family for their great loss.

We are so deeply sorry for your family's loss. Joyce was such a wonderful neighbor. If the true measure of a person is in the lives they've touched, then Joyce definitely earned an A+. We are blessed for having known Joyce and will forever cherish our memories of her.
