Uncle Lester Three months you've been gone, and I didn't find out until today. Why didn't you phone me before you left. Been trying to get a hold of you, since October 5. Uncle Allen Ford passed away from pneumonia. I continually phoned, your mailbox was full, and you never answered. I should have known something was wrong. You and aunt Marion made me laugh, your martinis were outstanding. You're going to be missed... Rest In Peace... I pray that you, Marion, Alan, and Woodie have fun...passing the time in God's great casino, until I get there.

Sorry you're gone Uncle Lester, I never made it to AZ for a visit and I will always regret that! Thank you for serving and protecting our country and deep condolences to all of your family. You will be missed!

I'll never forget Italian restaurant "Hole in the Wall" in Las Vegas. Their accordion player comes to our table playing, stops to ask us where we're from. Uncle Lester says "Guam." We all started laughing, so much so that the guy just walks away. But Uncle Lester wasn't laughing. After all, we were from Guam!
