Rose Elizabeth Ritson
Phoenix - The family of Rose Elizabeth Ritson sadly announces her transition of this life on September 4th, 2018 in Round Rock, TX after fiercely battling cancer for 3 years. Rose was born August 19, 1949 in New Orleans, but lived 40 plus years in her beloved city of Phoenix. Rose was an employee at Fry's Food Stores for 26 years in which she happily retired in 2001. Most will recall Rose from Fry's as being the, "Pretty black cashier with the long beautiful nails." Rose leaves behind her loving daughters and son-in-loves, Stephanie Flowers (Duane) of NC, Dakeisha Marshall (Willie) of TX, Veronica and Kathleen of AZ. She will be greatly revered by her 5 grandchildren, 4 inherited grandchildren and Godson. Rose will also be forever remembered by her Brother Rev. Howard Lewis, sisters Esther Pierce, Edna Mae Hall and Dianne Dejean, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Rose was preceded in death by her husband George A. Ritson, her father Ceaser Lewis and mother Edna Morris Lewis, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Rose was a member of Trinity Cathedral 100 W Roosevelt Phoenix AZ 85003 where her services will be held on TH, September 27th, 2018 at 3pm. Interment will follow. Those who so desire to make memorial donations, please do so by using a pay app of your choice in remembrance of Rose to her grandchildren's trust fund using the handle [email protected]. No flowers please.
