Dear Family:

It's with both sorrow and joy we send this message tonight. Sorrow for our loss of Aunt Sue! But Joy because of the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ who did ALL that was necessary for us to return to The presence of God to be with Our Loved Ones. That's where the JOY comes in - because Aunt Sue is with Grandma and Grandpa Now!

She was only six years older than I and I can remember staying overnight at their house on the Ivins Ranch west of Soda Springs Idaho. Her bedroom faced East and we watched the stars that night.

I did not know anything about her bout with cancer. I signed up to ride with my wife LaNae for the second year in the Padres Pedal the Cause Ride for Cancer Research which is also going on tomorrow the day of Aunt Sue's Memorial. We will be riding another weekend because our daughter gave birth to our 14th grandchild this week and we have been in Utah helping her and her three young children get accustomed to her new son and their new brother.

We love our family!

So sorry to hear of Sue's passing. I worked along side her in the NICU at Banner Desert as a tech. She was so loved and had much wisdom to share with all of us about the nursing profession, preemie's and life. She also may have been one of my nurses back in the day, as I was born a preemie at the same hospital! I also got the previlege to watch her dogs & condo while she was away on exotic, amazing once in a lifetime trips. Loved Sue's humor & shinsnigans, as it was always a bright spot during some difficult situations. Love you always, Sue Bee! ❤

I always remember playing house with Sue when we got together. She was only six years younger, but she was "the boss". I loved her and her brothers. (Such wonderful cousins!) Sorry for your loss, but cherish your memories of her.

Rex and Ruth and Brent and Alene,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing away of Sue. She was so special to me when she was a toddler and a little girl. I spent many hours baby sitting her and playing with her. It sounds like she was a wonderful nurse and helped many families.

With sympathy,
Jolien Maughan Barresi
