Margaret Emily Popp Ulmer, 90 of Cockeysville died Monday March 29, 2021 at the Masonic Home of Maryland. Born Feb. 19, 1931 Emily is survived by her husband of 69 years, Rev. Elwood Ulmer, Sr., children, Emily Michelsen, Susan Copenhaver, Victoria Mottram, Elwood Ulmer, Jr., and Frank Ulmer, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister Judy Vasser. She was very involved in her church serving many positions as well as being the pastor's wife. She served as president of the Maryland State Women's Missionary Union and the president of the United Baptist Women of Maryland. She also worked for the state of Maryland first as a social worker and then in administration until she retired. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 24 at 12pm at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, Lutherville.
