Mindi was a strong advocate for civil rights and LGBTQ youth, leading Eastern's first Gay Straight Alliance and the Rainbow Youth Alliance in Harford County MD.
Mindi and Dave retired to Maryland. What brought her joy was reading, gardening, Detroit Tigers baseball, and attending her grandchildrens' dance, karate, and sports activities.
