Nancy Marie Meehan of Melbourne, FL died peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2018. She was comforted at the time of her passing by the presence of several of her children. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a lifelong Catholic. A native of Meadville, PA and graduate of Allegheny College, Nancy married the love of her life David H. Meehan on September 5, 1953. She gave up her career with Westinghouse and focused on raising the family with the arrival of her first child in 1957. Having spent much of her adult life in Baltimore, she and David relocated to Melbourne, FL in 1992. There she enjoyed volunteering at Ascension Catholic Church and Meals on Wheels, as well as spending time relaxing with David and enjoying the company of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, David H. Meehan, as well as her grandson John Christopher Meehan. She is survived by her five children - Mary Beth Kostyk (Ed); Molly Anne Nicol (James); Martha Meehan-Cohen (Howie); D. Michael Meehan (Kelley); and, John S. Meehan (Millicent), as well as 14 grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Ascension Catholic Church Melbourne, FL. You may sign Nancy's guestbook at:

I worked with and for Dave in Baltimore for 23 years. He was amazing, as was Nancy. Most of our relationship was business related, but there were also many social events including our spouses. The Meehans were just special people.
