Dayna & Deb

I was so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. I have so many childhood memories of her, she was my "other mother" on Wabash. I remember all the dresses she helped my mom sew (all my high school formals, my wedding dress etc.). There was always more than one pattern she would have to help piece together to make my perfect gown. I remember sitting on the porch, often on her lap, while she and mom visited and shared neighborhood gossip over endless cups of coffee. She let us use the the side yard to horse play, practice our batons or practice our BCCHS Flag Corp routines. I remember all the times she would get after your dad when he was picking on me just a little too much. She would bring over treats, cookies, cakes, bread, muffins regularly and ALWAYS had a smile on her face. She was a Truly Angelic soul and I am so Grateful that she and your dad were such a big part of my life growing up. She was a loving and dear friend to my mom and left her mark on the hearts of all us neighborhood kids. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I hope that you are able to find the solace of knowing she and Theron are together once more. Perhaps they are hanging out with Pat & Owen up in heaven.

Love you much XXOOXO

Dayna & Deb,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Barb. You're both in my thoughts and prayers and I wish I could have been at the services. Barb has a special place in my heart for so many reasons and I have so many good memories to reflect on. Your Mom & Dad both touched my life in many ways - they were more than just a friend! Cherish the memories.

Aunt Barb and my mom made all the bridesmaid dresses, and my dress. I understand that neither of them wanted to work on satin again.

John and I have been so blessed to live next door to Theron and Barb for the last 7 years. Better neighbors you couldn't find! We've missed Theron so much over the last few months and will miss Barb as well. I won't be able to say hello as she's hanging her clothes on the line or tending to her beautiful flowers or discuss how to get rid of the skunks digging in our yards. All I can say is that we were fortunate to have known Theron and Barb. They made our lives better!
