Am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was an amazing friend, coworker, mentor, the list goes on. She left footprints on the hearts of each & everyone. What a blessing.
May our heavenly Father wrap each of you in His loving arms & provide comfort during this difficult time.

I am very sorry for your loss.I met Mildred in the early 1990s,while giving her a landscaping estimate. After a lengthy conversation,we came to the realization that we both were from the same small community in southern Indiana,Vevay. She knew my father very well, was even his girlfriend while he was in Germany during WWII.She even retrieved a momento that my father had sent home money from Germany to his mother,so that she would go to our local jeweler and buy Mildred a Christmas present. They both were born in Markland,Indiana also. What a small world it is.After meeting her that Saturday afternoon, I never felt homesick for my little Indiana town ever again. What a wonderful lady she was,and I thought of her often. It was so sad to hear of her passing,as I was looking so much sit and talk with her at her brother's wife's visitation in Vevay last night. This is how I got the news of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
