Losing a loved one is so hard to accept, but may the happy memories you shared together keep you strong in the days to come. Find comfort in knowing others are thinking about you.

I was pleased and honored to have been able to serve your mother. Ms. Mattye, was always modest in her ways. You'd give her a compliment and she would just chuckle. In the time I served her meals, Ms Mattye always tried to keep a positive attitude even when her day wasn't goin particularly well. We served catfish one meal, I know why am I bringing this up.??? Ms. Martyr ate 7 helpings of catfish that meal. She enjoyed it so much she commented, I don't understand why these folks don't enjoy this, its good. She was always letting you know what she thought about just about anything. She was quite the lady, i used to pick on her about raiding her closet. I'd tell her what a beautiful blouse she had on or comment on her sensible ruby red shoes. Ms. Martye was always asking about others (residents) she hadn't seen, ones that stuck out to her. I may not always know what to say to you the family. What I want to say is Thank You for sharing your Mother, I will miss her deeply. She made an impact on me and I'll always cherish that of her. She helped me to cope with the passing of my own mother last year. The truly last time I got to talk with her, I said Ms. Msttye, you look just like my mother. They were both good, beautiful ladies right up to the last.
