Deborah Reichert LaSorte
West Palm Beach, FL
Deborah Reichert LaSorte, 54, died suddenly in West Palm Beach on August 13, 2017.
Born in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1962, Debbie moved to West Palm Beach right after high school to work at the Palm Beach County Courthouse, where she met her future husband Al LaSorte. Debbie then enrolled at Florida Atlantic University and went on to become a teacher in the Palm Beach County Public School System.
Debbie was known for her huge heart, and her willingness to help any and all who may be in need. She had a smile that would light up any room, and was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Debbie was a long-time volunteer with Kenya Relief, making trips to Kenya to help support its wonderful medical clinic, orphanage and school. She will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives she impacted for the better.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of thirty-two years, Al, their son Andrew and daughter Allie, parents Loyd Reichert and Patricia Reichert, sister Lori Shuee (Brent), brother Todd Reichert, niece Lauren Fair (Drew), nephew Billy Walters (Kimberly), brothers-in-law Joseph LaSorte (Lisa), Michael LaSorte and David LaSorte, and numerous extended family.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 19 at 11:30 am at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing immediately before the memorial service, beginning at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kenya Relief. A link has been set up on the Kenya Relief website for this purpose. Please go to KenyaRelief.org/donate and look for the "In memory of Debbie LaSorte" link.

There are no words to describe the sadness of losing such a dear friend. Debbie was such a dazzling bright light in my life. I loved every minute I ever spent with her. She always made me feel special, even when she was feeling down. She spent her life trying to help others. I looked up to her as an example of the person I should become. She introduced me to Spa Days, which I am forever grateful for...She gifted me with so many beautiful things from earrings to candles. I am surrounded by her memory and cherish it. I know it must be so hard for you, Al, Allie and Andrew. But you had the greatest Wife/Mother and will have her memory forever. I will always keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Margaret Jordan

Dear Al, Allie and Andrew,
There are still no words to express my feelings of sorrow over this unimaginable tragedy. I think back to the day this supermodel walked into my classroom. Incredibly, I soon discovered that this strikingly beautiful woman was even more beautiful on the inside.
I regret that I did not stay in touch since shortly after the accident. My desire to become dear friends remains steadfast. I will call tomorrow. In the meantime, please know that I was proud to know Deb for the short time that I did. She will remain in my thoughts and prayers until the end of my days.
God Bless You,

Al,
Carol and I will come by to see you whenever you are ready. You and your family must be devastated by this sudden unexpected loss. Indicative of Deb's nature, I will never forget that Shutts party when she was the only one fearless enough to let that giant boa constrictor wrap itself around her. We will miss her.

It was November 2005 in a small cafe in Venice Italy when we first met and shared a table and Debbie and Al.
When I saw Debbie I thought a film star had walked in, she was such a beautiful lady.
Within a short while my wife Jane and I were chatting with Al and Debbie and the four of us spent the next three days together exploring Venice.
I remember on one of these days Al had noticed that Debbie had been admiring a ring in a jewellery shop and he plotted with Jane and I to distract Debbie whilst he went back to buy the ring for her. It was obvious to all that they loved each other very much.
We live in the UK so we have not had the pleasure of seeing Al and Debbie regularly, although we did meet up again a few years ago and are so proud to call them friends.
It is so difficult to write here of Debbie in the past tense. She was such a vibrant and warm person and it doesn't seem possible that her bright light can have been extinguished from this world.
Debbie, we will both miss you very much, it really hurts to think that you are no longer there.
Our thoughts will be with you on Saturday Debbie and with Al and your family who must be hurting beyond pain
With Love from Jane and Colin

To my cousin Al and family, I'm so very sorry for this extremely difficult loss. My dad, Tom Pacello, spoke very highly of Debbie. He enjoyed spending time with you recently. What a beautiful person, and it sounds like she gave so much to others. I wish I could've known her. I'll be thinking and praying for your comfort and peace.

Debbie and Al were the epitome of a loving, wonderful couple. Although we only spent time with Debbie at our parties, dinners and such, we remember her as lighting up the room with her smile, her warmth and her humanity. She was as special as everyone says.
Debbie was a remarkable person and the world is a much darker place with her removed from it. Our hearts go out to her family and her friends. Both Nancy and I are devastated by her passing and she will remain in our prayers. We wish Al every blessing as he goes forward.

Dear Allie, Andrew and Al,
I just got in from Asheville, NC and heard the horrible news. I am devastated. I can hardly type I am so hurt. Debbie was one of the most beautiful women.. in every way imaginable...that I have ever been blessed enough to know. She never stopped thinking about others, whether it be family, friends or the countless people she met in her mission work, Deb extended a loving hand regardless of age, race or walk of life. She has made this a better world. My life was enriched by Deb and I am ever so grateful that I was blessed to know her. My heart goes out to her beautiful family that she loved so very much. I pray that you can find strength to pull through this. May you honor her memory always.
God Bless,
