Figgskazoo. You were a wonderful cycling friend and you have gone ahead. Say hello to Moots, Sidewinder and JDawg. I hope you get in some climbing and riding and that it is one glorious, grand adventure!

Susan and I send our deepest condolences for your loss. I worked with Bill for two years on his San Diego project. We feel so fortunate to have known him. He was surely a brilliant analyst and developer. He helped me not to take things too seriously when the heat was on which it often was. Bill and I shared an interest in music, and we played together whenever he was in town. One time we played in the lobby of the San Diego Hilton, where he was staying, for some gracious if surprised listeners. Susan and I had the pleasure of having some dinners with Bill when he was in town, and we'll always be grateful for his humor, honesty and his great sense of optimism and confidence.

Dear Sharon, Mindy and family
So sorry to hear of Bill's passing.
I will not even pretend to know what
you are going through but I will pray
for good days ahead.
I did not know of all Bill's achievements
nor of his love for the outdoors.
So when the wind is in your face may
it remind you of his love of bike riding,
when you are walking an incline think of him conquering
the mountains, and may every sunset serve to
melt all your sorrows into fond memories filling
your heart for years to come.

With deepest sympathy
Kathy Davis
