Jean Riggs
Lakeview - Jean M. Riggs of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away April 4, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 72. She was born April 15, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of James and Ruth Waltz. She married George Riggs on February 17, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois. Jean lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Chicago, Illinois, in 1994. She was an office clerk for the Bull Shoals White River State Park. She enjoyed Sudoku, camping, gardening, and volunteering at the Bull Shoals Food Pantry and the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Jean is survived by her husband, George Riggs of Bull Shoals, AR; son, Tim (Karen) Riggs of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Connie (Larry) Dotson of Jacksonville, AL; brother, Bill (Marshajo) Waltz of Copperas Cove, TX; sister, Nancy Clothier of Des Plaines, IL; and grandson, Michael Duncan of Jacksonville, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life for Jean will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Bull Shoals-White River Pavilion #1, with Heather Marsalis, Celebrant officiating. Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Food Pantry. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
