An important person in my education- I am grateful for her role in my life and her friendship with my mother and other fine people

Ann, I feel as though I knew Rowena through you. When you speak of her, your love and admiration is clear, and I see that same strong independent woman in you. May God's peace be with you and your family.

During this time of sorrow may you be comforted by Gods promise that he is near to those that are broken at heart. And those crushed in spirit he saves. (Ps 34: 18) May the thought of seeing your loved one again bring you peace. Acts24:15

Your Mom...with a book, a smile, a funny story, and lots of patience for little girls games and good times. She holds a very special place in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss.

I DO ROWENA FROM BAYWOOD. I DON'T THINK THAT ANYONE COULD SAY A BAD WORD ABOUT HER. SO SORRY THAT SHE HAS LEFT US.

My Sincere condolences to Mrs Colwell's family and friends--I loved having her as one of my Deepwater Jr High teachers--She was a great Educator, and I still remember some of the things she taught me, such as "Beowulf", and her great sense of humor

So many wonderful memories of Mrs. Colwell when she would come to her dental appointments in Pasadena. We knew she expected our best and we appreciated giving our best to her! She always had a funny story and especially loved showing us pictures of the "nearly perfect" grandchildren and stories about all of ya'll! She always had an encouraging word as we raised our now 23 and 21 year old "children". We will treasure the "friendship" we shared. Dr. John and Desiree Hatcher

Al, Amy and Baby Ann . . . your Mom was a wonderful "mother" to many of us in our formative years in Pasadena and she forever has a special place in our hearts. May God comfort you in this time of saddness as we celebrate the blessing of her in our lives.

As we remember the love and laughter, we'll mourn the loss of this extrodinary woman & friend, but we'll also celebrate her life. She has left such a legacy in her children and "nearly perfect" grandchildren. She's with God and Mr. Colwell now. We love you!
