My first day of classes at Mizzou I caught sight of the face of an angel in Geology class. A roller coaster of emotions that semester. Although we went separate ways after that, it's been almost 40 years and I've never forgotten. You have way too much energy to be gone, you simply moved on to the next level. I feel certain we will meet again. Until then.

Betty was a light. She and I enjoyed talking about life's journey and lessons. And when I found myself injured and not comfortable asking for help, she appeared offering 100% of anything I needed. I only hope what she received from me was equal. Fly Free Betty! Thank you for your light that touched many. love, Laurie

Betty was my friend since 1985 when I first met her at "creative living" which was an organization which helped adults with developmental disabilities live independently. Betty was a tireless advocate of peoples rights and had the backs of all the individuals we had the pleasure of working with. She had a terrific sense of humor and she was so very kind. She was also a fiercely independent thinker with many convictions. They were from her keen powers of observation and investigation. When she loved you it was 100 %. She did everything from that standpoint of 100%. BLess her heart. I feel very priveledged to know her.

Betty touched my heart and will forever live there. I'll be sure to spread the hangar and string trick at every party in your honor.

Always in remembrance of you.

Sweet Betty RIP
September 22, 2015
Betty was one of the sweetest most fun people we have known. She always had a smile and added her creative spirit to everything she did. She especially love the Earth and spent a lot of time tending her gardens and land. We will be celebrating her life on Sunday, September 27 at Van Zandt Community Hall out in Deming on Route 9 across from Everybody's Store. We'll be there with bells and whistles.
