Dick McGrew, age 82, went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2018 in Bellingham. He was born on June 22, 1935 in East St. Louis, IL to Richard and Juanita McGrew. While serving in the U.S. Navy he met Joan Wilkinson; they were married on December 30, 1960 in Kirkland, WA. Dick worked as a motorcycle mechanic and later for Tanaka and as a general contractor. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joan, son Chris McGrew (wife Trang Thai), daughter Erin McGrew Jentges, granddaughters Celine Mehaffey (husband Ray) and Kaitlyn Jentges and brother-in-law Clarence Edelman (wife Judy). A memorial service will be held at Baker Creek Bible Church, 3920 James St. in Bellingham, on Sunday, March 18th at 2 PM. A reception will follow at the church. Memorials may be made to Baker Creek Bible Church or Whatcom Hospice House. Share your memories at www.westfordfuneralhome.com.
