Glenda M. Blaylock, 82, of Benton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017. She was born Dec. 17, 1934, in Silsbee, Texas, to the late Clarence "Jack" Milton and Myrle Lucille Wells.?
Glenda was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing with her family at church and nursing homes and loved to read her Bible.
?Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Marshall Blaylock, Sr.; a daughter, Deborah Crowson; a son, Eldon Marshall Blaylock, Jr.; and her parents.?
?She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Rebecca Blaylock, of Benton; a son, Kenneth Blaylock and wife, Cathy, of Benton; grandchildren, Aaron Crowson, John Crowson, David Gray, Joshua Crowson, Kristin Haygood, Rachel Quigley, Ryan Blaylock, Jonathon Gray, and Grace Crowson; 21 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Jackie Collins, Charlotte Cowart, Mary Smith, Cathy Cates and husband, Billy, and Paula Thompson; and a number of family members and friends who loved Glenda and will miss her always. ?
?Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, located at 322 N. Market St. In Benton. ?
?Funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Ken Graham and the Rev. Larry Mattingly, will follow at 11 a.m. ?
?Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park at 1 p.m. ?
?Services are entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home. ?
