It was my privilege to work with Fr. Branscomb while serving as coordinator for Southside Ministries at St. Andrew's in Birmingham. He opened the church to ministry to the poor and hungry, and each weekday he could be found in the parish hall sharing lunch with the homeless. I'll remember him as a man of deeds as well as words. May God rest his soul.

Fr. B was a loving, talented priest. I will remember his smile and laughter, and his wonderful stories. Have a joyous reunion with Joan and your Heavenly Father, my friend.

Rev. Branscomb, not only being in WWII, he was also a wonderful piano player. He played at my father's memorial service at Westminster Village in January of 2014. I was very grateful for him being at the service and also for his playing, Onward, Christian Soldier!
