Mrs Foster taught David, as well as my brother and his best friend, Steve, in the first grade 1959-60, and she taught me 1961-62. We adored her. After David and I were grown and married to each other, she and Mr Foster were so good to us, and they were loyal customers. I'll never forget her telling us that Mr. Foster always told her that if anything happened to him, she should always take her car to David Goodson for his guys to keep it in top shape. I well remember standing there one time in our showroom when he told her she still had several hundred miles left on those tires and didn't need to buy any right now, unless she just wanted to. She smiled and hugged us both.

My favorite memory with her is after we sold our business January 2000 and moved to the Hoover AL area June 2000. We walked in to a Mexican restaurant there on Hwy 280 after church one Sunday, as we were exploring new churches, and Beth and her daughter and Mrs Foster were sharing a booth. My sweetheart just slipped in beside Mrs Foster and hugged her. I wish I had had a phone camera back then. Her smile was worth millions once she saw David. We had no idea we had bought a house 5 minutes from hers, over 170 miles from where we all originated from.

She fought the good fight, and she ended well. You can rest in knowing you were loving and devoted and you all maxed out that time with her. Heaven just keeps looking better and better. What a privilege for her to have enjoyed all those great grandbabies! Sending my love and prayers as you navigate this life without her, fully assured that you'll spend Eternity with her and Mr Foster. Those are the greatest of blessings, indeed! ♥
