May your family find peace of heart and comfort from the hope Jesus demonstrated at John 11:17-44.

Both Dr. John and Dr. Bette Talley were dear members of our church family while they lived and worked in the Washington DC area. Dr. John preached regularly to a group of young adults that I was part of (back when I could be considered "young"), and motivated us in our faith that is lasting to this day. His Sunday School lessons were likewise insightful and impactful to our spiritual growth. Our hearts and prayers go out to Bette and the family; even as we miss Dr. Talley, we know with what joy he is welcomed home.

I remember Dr. Talley from the community Bible classes at SBC. My sympathy to his family.
