Kenneth Ryan Holler, 79, of Pelham, AL, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2020. He was born in Birmingham, AL, on March 5,1941. He graduated from Ensley High School. He was married to the love of his life, Diane Finn Holler on March 13, 1959. Kenneth was twice retired. In 1982, he first retired from a twenty-year career with the Birmingham Police Department with the rank of Sergeant. He retired from his second career as the City of Pelham's Director of Public Works in 2008 after twenty-four years of service. He was a Mason and had a passion for Alabama Football, his family and friends. Kenneth is survived by his three children, Chris (Tanya), Beth Gamble (Dale), Steve (Daphne), his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Public Visitation is on July 30, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL. Public Graveside Service is on July 31, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Pelham City Cemetery, 2 Industrial Park Drive, Pelham, AL. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Pink Heals Central Alabama.

He was a dear friend. I was in his room thru Central Park school. So smart I was his catcher on the Central Park baseball team. What a pitcher. I loved him as a friend. Will miss. Good cop. Good guy!

In loving memory of a wonderful person . I have known Kenneth for many years and he was a loving husband, a good father, and a great friend to many people . He will be missed by his family,but so many cherished memories will remain in all of our hearts. I will be praying for the family in this time of grief.
