Lamont and I became friends in the 1960s, shortly after he graduated from Alabama. We lost touch over the years, but I remember his laugh’, his kindness and that great smile. He always made everyone feel better. My prayers and sympathy go out to all of his family. God’s Peace to Lamont and each of you.

My parents, Jim and Judy South, knew Mr. Majors through the Birmingham Jaycees.
I was young then, but I remember him as a kind and jovial man, who made a positive impression on my life that I remember more than 50 years later. The world is less friendly, kind and happy because he is no longer with us.
