We knew her as Tony. She was my dad's first cousin and very special to him. As a child I always wished she was our mom. She seemed to be the perfect mother. (As adults, we know there is no such thing.) She was always a lot of fun and seemed to always be in control. (My own mother was emotionally ill and many times physically sick, too.)
Janell was also one of the best cooks I know!
Our prayers will be with all of the family in the coming days for comfort and peace in their loss of this very special person. May you rest in the sure knowledge that she is at peace with her LORD and those loved ones who preceded her!

Janell was a great mother-in-law and truly a one-of-a-kind lady. She had so much vitality, humor, intellect and talent. Her zest for life was only tempered by her wish to be re-united with Ernest, Sr. Janell got such pleasure from life...her daughter, son, grandchildren and much beloved great-grandson filled her conversation. Of course, I also loved hearing about her acting career. I thought it remarkable, this lady who started her acting career when most folks were thinking about retirement! Janell was such a beautiful person, with a brilliant smile.
