My sympathy to Charlene's loving family.....her warmth, grace and genuine charm , evident from our days at st Joseph school up until our current monthly lunches never wavered through the years. May she Rest In Peace. With fond memories of her bright smile. May Marcinek Vaghi

I taught with Charlene for many years. She could always make you laugh. May your memories of her bring a smile to your face during this difficult time.

Hey Charlene, I know you're listening and you know that you are in my prayers. People come in and out of our lives all the time. You know me - I meet a lot of people, but they are only acquaintances. You have been one of my very few and special friends. I shared so many good times with you. Yes, we went through many a storm, but more often we laughed, shared good books in book club, experimented with my new dinner ideas (some better than others), and had many an intellectual and political conversation. Mostly, I respected that you always have been a class act - a true gentle lady. I hope that your graciousness has rubbed off on me. By the way, since you're now close to the powers that be how about suggesting a reduction in thunder storms. Do know that you're in my thoughts, prayers and in my heart.

Charleen was such a personable and engaging person. I first knew her when I was a first-year teacher at Newtown High and she was a guidance counselor. She wwas always so thoughtful and I appreciated her friendliness. May she rest in peace.
