Dear Julie and David,

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Mr. Marceau was always wonderful to me, and I have great memories from our times together in Canton (where we were always hitting a ball into your yard ) and during the later years in Harwich when our parents lived across the street from each other again. Your Dad had such a dry sense of humor, and I used to love the banter between him and my father when they drove through stressful traffic from Canton to Boston when they worked in the Barnes Building. I wish we recorded those conversations talk radio hosts had nothing on those two! Hilarious. Your Dad also wrote me a very helpful recommendation for a scholarship when I was in high school which, with his help, I got!

So sorry we were not able to come to the funeral mass, but know that you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers. Your Dad had dignity and class traits that are (unfortunately) too rare in today's climate. Thanks for all the great memories, and God bless. With love and affection, Mark

I was privileged to know and work with Jim at the Department of Defense. Jim was a professional and always helped everyone that he came in contact with. He assisted me greatly in my career as a Corporate Contracting Officer. I will always cherish his sound advice and I offer my deepest condolences to the family of this true gentleman.
