My Aunt Josie was a very caring, loving person who cherished family most of all. She opened her home on Cape Cod to friends and family, creating memories for generations. She helped our family in our time of greatest need and her act of selfless generosity will never be forgotten. She showed us what love is.

Auntie Jo,
I miss you so much already. I was very lucky to have you in my life. Lucky to share so many wonderful memorable moments with you. Thank you for your sparkling Irish eyes and smile. For dancing with me and my pups, singing Irish tunes, sitting with me in the lovely garden you and Aunt Ann created at Cedardale for all the wildlife, for you warm hugs and infectious laughter. Give Mom and Dad a giant hug and I will see you again one day when we meet in the lofty wonder of Heaven.
Love You,
Your Wee One - Kath

My condolences to the family and friends of Josie. I had the absolute greatest pleasure of caring for Josie at Compass on the Bay Assisted Living. I have never met someone so happy and so full of life and laughter. She was truly a gift to the world to keep everyone smiling and laughing and to remind everyone that life is so full of blessings we shouldn't forget to appreciate. I will miss her dearly and will never forget my buddy.

My heart aches to hear of Josie's passing I took care of her at Compass on the Bay before she went to John Adams, Josie was like a grandmother to me also a friend, She was so loving and just had the best sense of humor, she loved to sing and tap, and dance she always loved a good irish tune!! She also would love wearing a hat no matter what time of day!! everyone she knew loved her so much!! Her funny stories and remarks could make you just laugh out loud, She made my days at work so memorable I loved being with her. She will be missed so so dearly.
