KURLAT, Saul Saul Kurlat, of Cambridge. April 1, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Gitta Kurlat. Saul's life story was the American dream: his brilliance, persistence and hard work moved him from poverty to success. Trained at Georgia Tech as an engineer, he built Eikonics, a firm that pioneered innovative photographic and imaging processes. In retirement he devoted time and resources to philanthropy, focusing particularly on health research and addressing the needs of children and the elderly. Saul was a blessing to his friends and to his community, generous in his concerns and his support of many individuals and institutions. Funeral services are private. Donations in Saul's memory may be made to Temple Israel of Boston or 2Life Communities. www.brezniakfuneraldirectors.com

No doubt, the most brilliant Man I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Saul's, Brother, Morris, was my Dad's, best friend and like a second Father, to me. Saul, and I, became friends through Morris, especially when Morris became I'll. I found Saul, to be such a wonderful person. I will miss him greatly in my own way. I have memories that will be with me.

My uncle was a fantastic man that I was fortunate to have in my life. He was role model for my wife, our two sons and I. We miss him terribly.

Saul was a caring and highly ethical person. I began working with him about 50 years ago. We remained close and he was always a role model for me.

Very sad to hear of Saul's passing. He was an amazing man and a very devoted husband to Gitta and brother, Morris. He truly loved his caretakers like his own family and know he will be deeply missed.
