I am so blessed to be able to call Ed family. He was a kind man with an easy spirit and a gentle soul.
He cherished his family and loved his country.
He and Sigi are true soulmates.
I will always remember my Uncle Ed with fondness and affection.
Thoughts and Prayers are with you dear Sigi and Family.

A man that loved his family, those related, and those like me, made to feel like family, with a passion. His sense of humor and orneriness endeared him to all that had the joy of knowing him. He was like a second dad to me and always held me to the same high standards that he did his own children. Even if I faltered he was there with love and support. He and Sigi were there when I had my first child welcoming him into the world like one of their own. I love this family so much and share in the saddness of their loss, but rejoice in knowing that Uncle Ed is with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ waiting for all of us to join him in glory! (Probably with a pipe and joke!!!)

Dear Sigi and family

Ed was such a lovely man and a very very special friend to us both.
He will be sadly miss by us.
We have such great memories together.
Which will stay in our hearts for ever.
We are so sad that we cannot be there with you.
Love to you all. Malcolm and Sue

Dear Sigi and family, I did not know this very special man, but I can clearly see he was quite a guy who loved his family. I am deeply and sincerely sad for all of you and your tremendous loss of this precious man. He is with Jesus and has seen the face of our saviour! GOD never breaks his promises to us. You all will be together one day again, in paradise ! Until that day comes. cherish those wonderful memories. Big hugs to all. xxx
