We had the pleasure of enjoying George's Smile and Twinkling Eyes regularly at the Big Boy for a number of years. We were with Bob Willoughby who played Golf with George in the Ann Arbor Golf League. Once in a while I would visit with him at the Rec Center.

This Saintly Man Blessed All with whom he came in contact. We Pray for His Family and All Who Loved Him.

A wonderful man. I did my student teaching with him at Tappan, and he gave me the responsibility of teaching the class! He would be in the room at the beginning of class and then just sort of fade out of the room and suddenly I was in charge. It worked!
My sincere condolences to the Bigelow family.

Mr. Bigelow was an amazing teacher. He took the time to make all of us feel important and enthusiastic about learning while in his classes. We all learned how to type fast and accurate, he would time us every week to check for improvement, and we were all very lucky to get to share time with him in the classroom because he was a fantastic role model. A great life lived by a great man.

Our sincere condolences to the family of George Bigelow. We were blessed to be at TUMC the day of Mr. Bigelow's signing of his book and did purchase it. His story became very real to us. It was an honor to meet him and shake his hand. My Dad was a WWII Vet, serving in Germany and my Mom was left with six children. We were born in 1634/1935 and remember the effect on family of a missing Dad those 2 years.

Mr. Bigelow taught "the home row" on the typewriter, and his class helped me throughout life more than any other. I enjoyed his company at Hudson Mills Golf Course, for many years. Great guy.

My deepest condolences to the family! We loved to listen to his stories every time he came over to Jay and Deana's home. My boyfriend, a Ret. Lt. Col, loved George's book. God bless you all!

Condolences to family and friends. Mr. Bigelow was my teacher at Tappan Jr. High and such a gentle and nice person. I have fond memories of being one of his students .

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family. Mr. Bigelow was my favorite teacher at Tappan like he was for so many others. Always kind, encouraging and smiling. He had such a positive impact on so many of us during those challenging teen years!
