Bob and Cindy Tenerowicz were instrumental in introducing us to Florida.and by extension, our getting to know Gert and John Tenerowicz. Thinking back to 1998 when we first bought in Sugar Creek Estates, Gert was the one who told us about a place for sale and said it was a great deal. She was right and we bought it. Gert and John were there to pick us up at the Tampa Airport to take us to our new Florida home the first time we saw it. They introduced us to “Checkers” burgers that same day, later “Café on the Beach”, “Pizza and Pipes” restaurant, “The Roadhouse” - throwing peanuts on the floor, and dozen of other hidden treasures. We had some great times and lots of laughs with the Tenerowicz family over the years. We will always remember Gert’s kindnesses to us, her strong religious beliefs, her love of sports (Go Red Sox), her organ solos, her humor, her pirogue’s, her afghans & doilies, her homemade soups, Aunty Helen’s crustless cheesecake for Christmas Eve, our weekly girls day out for lunch & shopping, and so many other things. Always remember, a person may go from life, but memories will always stay with you forever. Our hearts go out to all of you at your painful loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
