My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you, and may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)

Our prayers are with you. My dad, Bill Stephenson, was in the hospital room with Bob for a few days. I would see you all while visiting at Surrey. Bill also passed away on 18 Jan. We will surely miss our fathers

Sue and family,
On behalf of my parents, Milton and Dorothy Latham, I send my deepest condolences. Both of you have meant a lot to them throughout the years and of course, for me as Bob was my Godfather. Our family sends our thoughts and prayers to you all.
Much Love,
The Latham Family

Sue, Karen, Tim - Bob, husband & father, never-give-up guy who was so active during his life was a rare person. He is one a few men I met during my life who had the drive and temperament to give of his time in so many ways. Your family became my friends those four and a half decades ago. Bob was like an uncle to me. I remember him being so shocked on evening as we sat in front of the Webster Ave fireplace when the wet, green log he had put in let out that steam belch that shattered the glass fire doors. I remember dropping him at Albany Airport one wintry day when had to travel to DC to testify about nursing home care - his plane barely cleared light poles just past end of the Runway, he called me at Hallmark a couple hours later saying the takeoff was rough!
The many car and train trips we took were always eventful and filled with chatter. Bob would be lime 10 year old in both directions on NYC trips to watch the trains switch engines from diesel to electric and vice versa.
Sue, i remember one visit to your house when Bob showed me you cellar room; he Bob also showed me the floor drain. Came in handy one time when was out of town and the cellar flooded!
He was full of a zest to do well and enjoying whatever chose to do.

He is on my sort list of less than a dozen people whom I call unusual, amazing, friend and mentor!

If anything goes awry in eternity I am sure Bob's soul will be the first to pitch in to rectify the issue!

He had a varied and full life. Of Course, now with Bib and My dad together again, I fear Eternity is going to be getting ears full of " Bucko stories!!"

I many memories of Bob, some days his wry humor was astounding.

I, too, have a tear at his passing, he may not have perfect BUT he was persuasive, persevering, pragmatic and some times almost clairvoyant.

One trip we took related to Keystone found us near Herkimer so he detoured and I got the tour of Inghams Mills, Kyser Dam and the story of Kyser Lake!

Bob, Godspeed on your Eternal Journey - yet ever-close to your Earthly family!

So, Bob, i shall not say Goodbye - but rather Au Revoir - 'til one day we meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss may you be able to endure a long time on the memories and thoughts that you cherish. Take comfort in knowing that your loved one has the ability to be in God's book of remembrance. (Mal. 3:16) Please accept my sincerest sympathies.
