Walter was a kind and generous man. It was an honor and pleasure to get to know him, although for much too short a time. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I was very lucky to have met Walt and spend time in his presence. He had ways of making me try weird foods, hear awesome stories about his life and travels. But, i will never forget his smile and how he included me and welcomed me any time i saw him. Heaven has an amazing man.

Mr. Wing was such a nice man. Always had a smile and I can still hear him saying, "Hi TC." That's what he always called me. You will always be remembered.

How do I say goodbye to my friend of 51 years, I don't , I say SEE YOU IN HEAVEN WALT. The years have provided me with joy, sadness, fun, crazy days at Seminole games, tomato fights in his fields. Walt, Joyce,Bill and I shared vacations (just about everything) together. Our kids belonged to the four of us. My heart hurts for Tammy, Cheryl, Faith and Nikki and their families. I love everyone of you as my number two daughters.

I love and miss you so much Dad. May you and Mom me dancing in the fields in heaven together once again. I take some solace in knowing that you are no longer suffering in pain. No one deserves to finally have rest and peace for all you selflessly did not only for your family, but also for all the others you helped during your lifetime. You were such a wonderful father and friend too all. You were always honest and trustworthy and I can't thank you enough for passing those traits unto us all. I have never known anyone to work so hard without ever a complaint. Forever in my thoughts and heart . .. Your loving daughter.

To the family: sorry for your loss. I have such great memories of long-ago gatherings with Walt and Joan, Rosemary and Ernie Wolf and my husband, Richard and me - always a fun time! Also memories of the "Wing's Horse Farm out here on the old Loop Road. Walt was a hardworking and friendly man.

I was fortunate to meet Mr. Wing while living in Florida. He was someone who could do things...which doesn't sound like much, but in these modern days is becoming more and more rare. Self-sufficient, independent, yet always kind and dressed in a warm and inviting smile. My thoughts and many hugs go out to his family.

Tammy, I was floored to see this news. You know I always enjoyed talking with your Dad when he came to our house for sprinkler work. Bless you during this hard time.

My brother, Walter,"Paps", was No. 9, in a N.J. farming family of 10 children. His humble beginnings imbued him with strong work ethics and a profound reverence for life. As an adult, he journeyed onward to Ruskin to become the entrepreneur of an enterprising agricultural business which was followed by his proprietorship of an established sprinklers systems. Walt was a devoted husband and a proud father of four lovely daughters. His love, fortitude, generosity, and humility has touched many. Indeed, my brother's journey continues to give life's meaning to ALL.
