I met Bill about five years ago at his home in Rosedale in Florida. I was his massage therapist. He and his wife Gale were some of the nicest people I have ever met. Bill was the kind of person that never said a disturbing word about anyone and wanted to know how you were doing before anything else. I just found out about his crossing over. His kindness and happy smile will be missed very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family that he spoke of so often. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather.

Just saw this and immediately remembered what a great person Bill was. I worked with him at Arlington H.S. Both students and faculty thought very highly of him. All of my sympathies on your loss.

My sympathies to Bill's family. We grew up on MacDonnell Heights where everyone knew each other. He was always kind and friendly and we enjoyed good conversation walking to the bus stop.

Played baseball with Bill. An incredible athlete. At the old school in Arlington saw him hit a monster home-run into a car dealership. Smart, nice to even us nerds, good-looking... he had it all and deserved it. Great guy.

I have so many high school memories of Bill; basketball, student government; and circle of close friends. I have a brother who is 13 years younger than I and he had Bill both as a homeroom and class teacher. His legacy is abundant. Thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family. From: Mary JANSON Roper

I met Bill when we were in 8th grade at Arlington Junior High. I am proud to call him my friend. He was a great guy, with a quick smile and who never had a bad word about anyone. My heart goes out to Gayle and their sons. Bill will be missed by many of us. Gone but never forgotten!
