Richmond Hill
Shirley Sutton Lee, 71, of Richmond Hill, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Savannah on August 26, 2018.
Shirley was born in Kenova, WV on May 2, 1947 and lived in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio before moving to Jacksonville, FL when her father was transferred there with Greyhound. She graduated from Dupont High School. She retired in 2011 as a jury administrator for the Southeast District of Georgia at the U.S. Federal Court House in Savannah, GA.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Sutton; mother-in-law, Virginia Lee; and brother-in-law, Michael Parenteau, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary Lee; son, Douglas Lee; daughter, Kimberly Mason (Craig); granddaughter, Heather Mason; father, Joe Sutton, Sr.; sisters, Brenda Turner (Rex); and Barbara Cooper (John); brother, Joe Sutton, Jr.; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and Lisa Long.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00 am with Sam Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be Luke Harris, Jason Sakelarios, Billy Reynolds, Eric Gaustad, Doug Sahlberg, Andrew Watt, and David Blige. Remembrances can be made to Hospice Savannah. Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.carterbryanchapel.com.

Our hearts are saddened to learn of our cousins passing. Shirley was a sweet lady and no doubt will be missed by many. Sorry we can't be with you all during this time.
