Jodeen is my 1st cousin. Her dad and my mom were siblings. In the 80's, Jodeen played in a band called The Sugarland Express along with my husband. Very memorable times. I found this sympathy note that I thought was quite fitting for her children and siblings who just had a reunion with her on Saturday.
"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for just one more day, just one more word, just one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so suddenly, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget."
The Fitz siblings are all about Family and Faith, a very, very close knit family. I wish I would have made it to this reunion, but I forgot and didn't write down a reminder of it. I am so sorry for your loss Tony and Brenda, and to all of her surviving siblings and their family's. I love you all.

Mom, I love you so much! You have went through hard times but you alway made sure everyone else was taken care of before yourself. Your heart was pure gold and I am so thankful to have been chosen to be your son. You worked hard as a single mom to make sure we were ok and there is nothing I can do to repay you for everything you have done. I hoped you would have been able to see a show again at the theatre when it gets done, but I know you will be there. My heart will miss you forever.
