June 27, 1922 - October 11, 2017 Fiona Sneddon, beloved wife of Murray M. Sneddon (1919 - 1997), passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family. She loved us all so much and we were lucky to have her in our lives for such a good long time. She was an incredible human being, invested in the lives of her extended family and the many friends she remained very connected to until her passing.Living most recently in Oceanside ,California she had been a resident of Glendale, attending Glendale High School, and Glendale Junior College. Moving to Burbank with her husband Murray post WWII to begin her family, she was active in the Burbank Methodist Church, she was a Cub Scout den mother, a Girl Scout leader, and a 24 year employee of the Burbank Unified School District.Upon retirement she and Murray moved to Bishop, California where she was again active in the United Methodist Church of Bishop, holding almost every office available under the auspices of the United Methodist Women on both a local and regional level. She has affected the lives of everyone she came in contact with through her loving humanitarian approach and has affected the lives of countless others she did not know through her donations of the universal blood type she possessed and gave of freely and often. She is survived by her sister Faye Watkins, her children Thomas , Wendy (Duncan) and Laurie (Duffy), and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of whom will miss her every day.A service in her honor will be held at the United Methodist Church of Bishop at a date TBD, and donations to the United Methodist Women of Bishop, California can be made in her name.
