Tyler's life was huge and inspiring, marked by travel and intellectual endeavor across enormous spaces. But what I shall remember him most for are his small kindnesses, his gentle notice of those who might be silent, his warm humor, his huge capacity for friendship and his profound love for Ale and his family.

We were classmates at Princeton, and all of us -while celebrating his life, work, contributions and service- mourn the loss of one of the most decent and kindly men that any of us has ever met.

My MOST sincere condolences on the loss of Tyler. I remember his calm and gentle demeanor and his appealing personality. I first saw him as his mother was pushing his baby carriage up Shore Road on a snowy winter's day. I remember when the Free Press printed his picture and write-up on his entrepreneurship as one of their top carriers. But most of all, I remember how good he was to his mother, especially when his father died, and how supportive he was of his sister, and what a good husband and father he was. I offer you all my prayers and sympathy as you grieve for this fine young man.

My deepest sympathy to Debbie and all of Tyler's loved ones. Losing my husband Mike to ALS 6 yrs. ago makes my heart understand only too well, wishing Gods peace to each of you. Carleen Lehouiller
