Extending heartfelt sympathy to Ray's family and friends. I met Ray and Patricia while a volunteer at Vermont Cancer Center. Such lovely and charismatic people. Thank you, Ray, for your years of service and dedication helping make this world a better place. RIP, dear friend.

Dear Family of Rev. Harwick,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn your loss but also as you celebrate his life - both the one he lived and his glorious new one with our Lord Jesus.
Imagine my surprise to see his obituary in my hometown newspaper - Bethlehem, PA. I grew up in Lititz, Pa, and during my high school years Rev. Harwick came to Lititz to serve the E&R church there. He and his brother pastor of the Lutheran church encouraged and led an interdenominational high school youth group that was very active. I am Moravian and we also participated which is how I came to know him. To this day (now 83) I have wondered what he said to my mother so she would allow me to participate in the national youth caravans sponsored by the E&R and CC churches when she had previously told me no. That experience was pivotal in my spiritual life, and for that I will always be thankful to Rev. Harwick.

Please allow me to extend my deepest condolences towards you and your family. I know this is a difficult time. May you find comfort in knowing your Heavenly Father cares for your family. Cherish your memories and look forward to the day He promises to reunite us with our dear loved ones. (1Thessalonians 4:14)
