Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Heaven has gained the best of our Earthly souls. As director of CCISD's Youth Services Program, Dr. Blacklock gave me one of my first jobs. He helped foster the mindset and offered the practical tools to help me and countless others graduate from college. Hook 'em, Horns!

His compassion was boundless and he led by example. So many years later, I recall his loving remarks about his family. He gave us the ultimate guide for living and remained humble about his great works.

Holding you, Dr. Blacklock, and your family, in the light. So many of us remain grateful to have known you.

I always enjoyed visiting with Corky. The first time I met him he gave me a ride in his red Volkswagen. He was a favorite cousin who was always willing to tell me about the Blacklock family and even put together the Blacklock Family history book. It was truly a blessing to have him in our family and to have the opportunity to spend with him.

Uncle Calvin and I would often watch college football games together. We would be watching one game on the big screen and a second game on a smaller TV sitting on top. We would simultaneously listen to a third game on the radio. I really enjoyed those time. He will definitely be missed. Kelley and Robyn, you are in my prayers.
