I am so saddened to hear this. She was an amazing Teacher. She was our Cabin monitor for HEB camp as well as my art teacher. She used to get so frustrated with me for not turning in my assignments! She tried everything to get me motivated, and although I am sure I really frustrated her she always had a smile for me. She encouraged me to take a boring assignment and make it my own which helped me a lot. She taught me to have fun with things I found boring which has paid off in my work life. I now design Trade Show Displays, Training PowerPoints, and Corporate Capabilities/brochures for a national telecommunications company as my "other duties" after the owners discovered how good I was at turning boring into entertaining. (I still have my art book from her class as well!!) Class of 1996

I am so deeply saddened by Charlotte's passing, when I heard I immediately had difficulty putting my thoughts into words.

I did not know her in person, but I treasured her kind warm spirit as much as if i had. We formed a friendship on the website "Pottermore" in 2011. She was one of the first people I met on the site and one of the ones I held most closely to my heart.

Speaking on behalf of the pottermore community (which later migrated to facebook accounts), Charlotte, "Sparrow", as we knew her, found a way to shine bright and fill us all with love even without ever meeting us.

I wish to pass the deepest condolences to Charlotte's family, and for them to know how many souls she touched online on top of the hundreds of lives she brightened in person.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear childhood friend. We met in first grade and were in Campfire Girls together for several years. I remember her telling me in elementary school that she was going to be artist. We met again several years later at CCSU/TAMU-CC while working on our teacher certifications. She was always a lovely person. My condolences to her family.
