Jeanne, We are so sorry to hear about your husband's passing. He sounds like such an amazing man. I have said a special prayer for you and will keep you in my thoughts over the coming days, weeks, months.

Jeanne, so sorry about your husband. He must have been a very special man. My sister Carol Ann Broughton Swearingen reads every single obituary in the Houston Chronicle every day and picked up on the name Mayo and then your name and let me know. We both have lived in Houston for years. Carol and I are going to the Gregory Portland High School Reunion next weekend the 25th. Got to visit with your sister Ann at the last one, don't know if she plans on being there this year. There is a group of GPHS Wildcats that get together here in Houston once a year, usually first of November, alternating between Ray Shotwell and Ronny Brown's home. The group is a bit younger than me but since at that point everyone knew everyone else in school, it is fun to visit with old friends and exchange memories and stories. If you think you might be interested contact me at [email protected] and I will see you are added to the list. Again, please know I hold you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. As a neighbor growing up on the same street, 1 house apart, our parents were good friends. Although my dad did not hunt , we were on a lease out of Concan with other Sinton families. We had great fun there and at the Garner dances. Wonderful memories.
