Mrs. Loomis was my 6th grade teacher at Windsor Park. She is one of my most favorite teachers ever. I googled her today and tried to find her on Facebook and am sad to find this. What a wonderful woman and teacher who made a big difference in childrens' lives. She took my FPS team to state and Nationals in Michigan. So dedicated.

Mrs Loomis was my 5th grade teacher at Montclair Elem school in Corpus Christi, Tex from 1973-74. I loved Mrs Loomis' laughter, smile and her way of teaching. She was the youngest teacher that I had been assigned to up to that time and I thought of her as cool and hip, TOO cool and hip to be a teacher. But she was one of the best. One example of her coolness was when I asked for a wallet picture. A few days after our school portraits were delivered to us in the classroom, I timidly asked her for one of her wallet pictures. To my surprise, she gave me one the next day! After all of these years , I still have the picture to remind me of her positive and kind influence in my young life. RIP Donna Loomis.

Donna and Craig have been great neighbors and friends for the 18 years we have lived two doors down. They always had time to stop and visit when walking Dennis or Laynie. They took an interest in our children as they grew up. They set a great example of how to live a good life, by balancing church, family, friends, work and leisure. Thanks, Donna, for the Christmas bread every year. This year's was especially good.
