Thomas "Tommy" Lee Burden
Corpus Christi, TX
Thomas (Tommy) Lee Burden, age 46, born in Springlake, North Carolina, on February 19, 1970, entered Heaven's gate on December 15, 2016.
Tommy was raised in Odem, Texas, and graduated from Odem High School in 1988. He was an inspector for All Tech/Qualspec for 18 years and stronghold inspections for 3 years. He was highly respected by his employers and coworkers.
Tommy enjoyed watching and playing sports and will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit and always putting others before himself. His main passion and love was the time he spent with family. Tommy was a wonderful loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and nephew. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Blas Nunez and paternal grandmother Ninfa Burden.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Michelle Deniese Burden, sons, Nathanael Burden and Thomas Cain Burden, a niece he raised, Vanessa Rodriguez, his parents Laura and Lee Roy Burden, brother, Robert Lee (Adriana S.) Burden, sister, Prudence Sunshine Burden (Benjamin), maternal grandmother, Virginia Nunez, two nieces, Camila Burden and Bella Meza, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
