Fidencio Lopez, Sr.

Corpus Christi - Fidencio Lopez, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 60. Fidencio was born on May 17, 1960 to Federico Lopez, Sr. and Emma Moreno Lopez in Falfurrias, Texas. He worked his entire adult life as a Manager in the fast food industry for many restaurants such as Dairy Burger, Dairy Queen and Whataburger.

Fidencio was a great father and grandfather. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he had vast amount of love for them. He enjoyed working on the lawn and gardening, working out at the gym and spending time with his family. He was an outgoing person who loved talking to people and making new acquaintances.

Fidencio was welcomed into Heaven by his parents and brothers, Fernando M. Lopez and Federico R. Lopez, Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Diana Lopez; sons, Fidencio (Darlene) Lopez Jr. and Fernando Andres Lopez; daughter, Briana D'Nell Lopez; special nephew whom he considered a son, Kyle Dwayne Palmatier all of Corpus Christi; sisters, Enedina "Nina" (John) Joiner and Linda Longoria; his favorite aunt, Elida Munoz; three grandchildren, Cameron Sciona Lopez, Gavin Kal-El Lopez, and Genesis Katana Lopez and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Our deepest condolences to the Lopez family and to Mrs.Enedina and Mrs .Linda.
Fidencio and I were friends in school. Fidencio was a joy .He always seemed happy and wore the biggest smile . He was a very funny guy and always managed to make me laugh . Ran into him at Bealls and his sister Linda a couple of years ago.Still the same happy Fidencio!!His huge,contagious smile,his happy demeanor and full of life personality is what I will always remember about Fidencio.I would like to think of him being in the presence of His creator smiling from ear to ear,making HIM laugh.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the entire Lopez Family. Fidencio was a very good friend of mine through out high school. ( Falfurrias High School Class of 1978! ) He always had a smile on his face and was always the life of the party. My wife Hayde and I were part of Fidencio and Diana's wedding party. I pray that the Lord be with the family and help console them during this very difficult time.

He was the nicest person you could ever know, friendly, talkative and very professional at his job. “Eternal rest grant him O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him.
