Glenda was indeed a giving and loving person. I remember spending many nights in the Contracting Office (she was always the first there and last to leave) solving world problems or at least keeping CCAD operating. She so loved those Red Raiders games. After we both left CCAD I'd call to meet her for lunch or dinner. On at least two occasions one of her sons called to invite her to dinner. She'd put her fingers to her lips to tell me not to speak and she would leave one dinner for another. She never turned down a meal with her kids. She seemed to love the grandkids equally keeping them every opportunity she got; forget the white couch. When my husband was in ICU in the Valley a couple of years ago, I caught her in Robstown telling her I'd call her if I needed her; that was Glenda, always there for you. I'll cherish that night at Snoopy's when we got that last opportunity to visit.

This Lady was my Contracting Officer for many years. I owe much of my contracting experience to her guidance and wisdom. I think about her often and it always brings a smile to my face. Rest in Jesus' arms, my friend. Jim Holiday
