My Aunt Nez was one of my favorite people in my life. She was like second Mother to me. Her love of family inspires me to this day. She married my father's brother( she would say because she had to be close to my Mom Bobbye who lived across the street until moving to California after the war).
I remember many summer vacations running across the street from my Granny Nora's house to Bell house to find the best goodies. Those memories were filled with love, FOOD, and family. I had cousins I didn't even know I had. When I married and had to move to Ft. Hood, Uncle Bill & Nez wouldn't hear of it! I stayed with them for months and had my best private cooking lessons. I got use to Danny pounding on the piano when Inez would make him practice. Those were some of my finest memories. It is so difficult to say goodbye to our love ones especially ones that really made a difference. Ola (I never knew that was her first name!) Inez Qualls, RIP my 2nd Mom, give my love toMom & Dad, and kiss Ryan for me.
