Uncle John was the sweetest and always joking around. My biggest memory is when he and Aunt Stella had is over for supper when we lived in Corpus Christi. And Uncle John made Mexican food by scratch from tacos to tortillas .Had enough food to feed the Navy It was so delicious that I still remembered it. Uncle John and Aunt Stella are sailing in their boat now in the high seas in heaven now and laughing. You will truly be missed but not forgotten.

I met John because of Cindy's friendship. I always heard stories of his love of life and his plants and his family. We attended several parties where he was the honoree or when he was father of the bride. My husband enjoyed his stories and knowledge. John was a character and was greatly admired by many of his VFW friends.
RIP and be with Stella.
