I was stunned to hear about Joe's passing. He provided me with some of the best medical care I have ever received; for that, I am eternally grateful. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and many friends.

I just learned of Joe's passing, it hit me close to home. He started as a Starbucks acquaintance but became but much more. It got to where I looked forward to visit with him when our paths crossed and when he went to work for my primary care physician he provided me with wonderful care.

When my Sister in Law came to him for medical care he went above and beyond to insure she received the care she needed.

Our sincere condolences to Margaret and Ely.

We were saddened to learn of Joe's passing. We are honored to have established a warm friendship almost immediately when he moved to Galveston as a young, enthusiastic. nursing professional.
Our grown children still have fond memories of sailing with Joe and Margaret and having them visit us.
Even though we moved out of state before Elysheva was born, we were blessed to meet her at dinner with Joe and Margaret while we were visiting in Galveston shortly after hurricane Ike.
Joe was so warm, friendly, funny and generous. He had a heart as big as Texas. Our daughter, Janna, worked with Joe at Shriner's and thought the world of him.
He was highly thought of by so many of us in Galveston.
Joe's warmth and generosity will be greatly missed. We are holding Joe's three girls: his wife, daughter and mother, in our hearts.
