Leon Albert Henderson, Jr.

Leon was born between the union of Leon Henderson, Sr. and Mildred Hamilton on August 1, 1952 at Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX.

He graduated from Richard King High School, May, 1970.

He served in the United States Air Force for eight years, where he made the rank of SSGT.

He returned home and worked as a security guard at CCNAS.

He obtained a certificate in Computer Science. He went to work for Spohn Hospital in Corpus. Christi, TX. He was then transferred to San Antonio, TX, where he became an Information Technology Analyst for the Clinical Dept., working alongside the Network Operations Center (NOC).

He leaves behind his wife Linda, 2 sons, Leon III and Stephen, his brother, Charles Duhart and sister Linda Denmon and a host of relatives, friends and co-workers.

Leon was the most fashionable member of the 1970 KHS track team. Along with being an outstanding athlete, he wore a purple suit long before Prince made it famous to out of town meets. Leon also had the best Motown collection of anyone I have ever known. See you again someday my brother.
